Velvia 50!

i bought some Velvia 50 in 120 format a little while ago. im not really big on shooting colour normally, but i thought id give the velvia a go based on the amazingly vibrant colours i saw and heard about, i was not disappointed! i got my positives [negatives?] back today from the lab in Melbourne, and wow. im in love!
now i just need to work out how im going to afford to buy shitloads of slide films for 4×5..

Large Format

Last week a crown graphic arrived on my doorstep, and on the weekend I bought some Kodak TMax 400 film. While sitting around tonight I decided to give it a go. Can’t wait to take it out into the field!

Wilsons Prom

a few weeks ago i went for a drive with a friend to Wilsons Prom to shoot some photos and to have a look around.
the weather wasn’t the greatest, especially since i also used some Fuji Velvia 50 film, i was hoping for some sunshine and blue skies.
overall it was a good day, got a heap of good photo’s i’m happy with. hopefully i can get down there again soon with my newest addition to my camera collection, a Crown Graphic 4×5.

“the bungalow”

a few weeks ago Ryan and i went to check out an abandoned homestead that had burnt down a week or so before.
but before we got to the house, we saw another house, which was closer, so we checked it out first.
it was pretty creepy, it looked as if there had been someone squatting in there. we both felt rather uneasy about it, so didn’t stay too long, but here’s some photos from the Ricoh Gr1s and Ilford FP4.

wedding

one of my old school friends got married on the weekend, so naturally, i got suited up and threw the Ricoh Gr1s loaded with Tri-X in my pocket, and went along.

i didn’t take too many photos unfortunately, but here’s a few from the reception.

Leica M3, roll #2.

because i have too many cameras, i tend to neglect them from time to time, and rolls of film tend to take a long time to finish and get developed.
these photos were taken over a few months! which is sad, cos the Leica M3 is an amazing camera to use.

Less than three

I couldn't surrender, try as they might, to an expectation, a label, or a routine. Constantly I'd struggle, trying to fit in a preconceived mold but I'd only end up hurting myself in the process, I was either too big, too small, or the wrong 'shape' of thinking!
