a few weekends ago i went out with the 4×5 and shot a few sheets.
im struggling a bit remembering to set aperture and close lens after focusing, but with a bit more practice, and the note i now have on top of the camera, it shouldn’t happen anymore….
i just bought a Schneider 150mm f/5.6 Symmar Convertible, so im keen to give it a go soon.
Crown Graphic 4×5 and Tmax 400 film.

Please post your 4×5 camera. I would love to see it. These images are just downright delicious! I see so many bowl-you-over photographs online that I get almost weary of them. These are different. There is a quietness about them that allows for contemplation and a sense of joy in the scene. “Peace” comes to mind. There is precious little quiet space in our lives. You are capturing it. Cheers!

that’s pretty much the feeling i have when i go out by myself with my camera, and i suppose its the feeling that i get when i look at them too.
im glad that i can share this with others.
