Roadtrip- continued..

so i have really slacked off lately, and only just started scanning some more film today from my trip, STILL have a few rolls to be developed…
but on a positive note, i have started developing my own C-41, using a Jobo CPE2 and Jobo press kit. it was a lot easier than i first thought.

i am actually quite amazed at how sharp these photos are. these Mamiya lenses, 50mm f4 C and 90mm f3.8 are actually amazing.

photo time!

recent additions.

recently i have picked up a few new cameras.
first was a Pentax 645 then came a Olympus XA2 ( and i think i have just bought a 6×17 MF camera… )
i have a few photos from both of those cameras, as well as some from my Hasselblad and Pentax LX.
i am very happy both!

following on from my previous post Polaroids, here are some shots i took on the Crown Graphic using Velvia 50.
i also took some photos on some expired Kodak Ektachrome 100 Plus, but the film came back pretty much clear…

its been a while…

…but here is a photo to keep you (and me) interested.

im slowly working through a backlog of film that needs to be scanned. just been really lazy lately.
but the colours in this roll has gotten me excited.

weekend adventures pt 2

here are some more photos from last week in Licola.
these were taken on my Hasselblad 500CM with Fuji Neopan Acros 100 film.

Hasselblad & Provia 100f

i think i have said it before, but i dont shoot much colour film..
i find it hard to get good colours, and its expensive/time consuming to get colour films developed.
but every-so-often i make the effort, and occasionally get pleasantly surprised.

Velvia 50!

i bought some Velvia 50 in 120 format a little while ago. im not really big on shooting colour normally, but i thought id give the velvia a go based on the amazingly vibrant colours i saw and heard about, i was not disappointed! i got my positives [negatives?] back today from the lab in Melbourne, and wow. im in love!
now i just need to work out how im going to afford to buy shitloads of slide films for 4×5..

Wilsons Prom

a few weeks ago i went for a drive with a friend to Wilsons Prom to shoot some photos and to have a look around.
the weather wasn’t the greatest, especially since i also used some Fuji Velvia 50 film, i was hoping for some sunshine and blue skies.
overall it was a good day, got a heap of good photo’s i’m happy with. hopefully i can get down there again soon with my newest addition to my camera collection, a Crown Graphic 4×5.
