Roadtrip- continued..

so i have really slacked off lately, and only just started scanning some more film today from my trip, STILL have a few rolls to be developed…
but on a positive note, i have started developing my own C-41, using a Jobo CPE2 and Jobo press kit. it was a lot easier than i first thought.

i am actually quite amazed at how sharp these photos are. these Mamiya lenses, 50mm f4 C and 90mm f3.8 are actually amazing.

photo time!

recent additions.

recently i have picked up a few new cameras.
first was a Pentax 645 then came a Olympus XA2 ( and i think i have just bought a 6×17 MF camera… )
i have a few photos from both of those cameras, as well as some from my Hasselblad and Pentax LX.
i am very happy both!

Inverloch

i saw someones photo of cliffs and rock formations at Inverloch, and wondered why i hadnt been there before, since big cliffs and rocks are very much my thing.
i got pretty excited by what i saw, shot a bunch of photos, but had a few issues with development.
i nearly always have issues when loading 4×5 sheets onto my MOD54 holder, i think i need a bigger changing bag, as when loading six sheets there is always 1 or 2 sheets stuck together.
however not all was lost, and only the corners were affected. Shanghai film is also quite soft and scratches easily.

Port Albert & Port Welshpool

a few weeks ago i spent a day down by the coast at some local ports.
the day started off a bit overcast while i was at Port Albert, and i shot a roll of Kodak Ektar, but later in the day the sun shone through, and i went to Port Welshpool and shot a roll of Kodak E100s.
both rolls were shot with a Hasselblad 500CM and 50mm Distagon T* lens.

abandoned school.

some friends and i went for a drive around Moe a few weeks ago, and came across this old school.
some parts have started to be demolished, and others are being rebuilt, not sure as what though…
this is my first roll of film souped in D-76. decent results, so im happy.

Frames from a roll of Rollei Retro

heres a bunch of random shots taken over a few months.
im generally way too selective with my photos, and a roll of 36 can take a while for me to finish!

i love detail in a photo, and these 2 following photos are full of it.
this is why i like b&w, i feel sometimes details can get lost in a colour photograph, colour can be a distraction.
