NYE, a trip down The Great Ocean Road.

For NYE, Kym and i were invited to a party in Torquay. So, i figured, if we’re going there, why not spend the day cruising the Great Ocean Road!
i packed my Hasselblad, with newly acquired metered prism and my Canon EOS 1N, with also newly acquired Canon 20mm f/2.8 lens.
i had no idea how accurate the metered prism would be, i had done a few tests with my Sekonic L308s and set the prisms meter to -1 EV compensation, and seemed to get similar EV readings between the 2, and considering i shot with positive film, id say the metered prism does a mighty fine job!

Sydney pt2

months ago i posted about a trip to Sydney that i done.. well heres some shots i took at Turimetta Beach with good friend Jack Chauvel
i used some expired Kodak Ektachrome 400X and a Hasselblad 500CM w/ 80mm Planar.
i didnt get too many good photos, but heres 2 of my favorites.

Two weekends ago i drove to Sydney to check out the Vivid Sydney, Reportage, and Head On festival.
my main attraction was James Nachtwey was doing a talk, and had some photos on show, being a big fan, i had to go.
the talk mainly consisted of him showing a slide show and him explaining the photos- how he took them, what happened, what they mean. it was well worth the trip.
i also got to check out Jeff Walls exhibition again and hung out with a few mates. i was hoping to maybe go to the Blue Mountains for a day or 2, but come down with a cold, and wasnt really in the mood for walking around, so i just drove home.
i still have a few rolls of slide film to be developed, but that wont happen for a few weeks, so for now, heres a few shots i took.
